Norma Guevara

Norma has been with the Firm for 14 years. As a paralegal she recovered over a million dollars for her clients yearly for over eight years. In addition, she obtained excellent feedback from her clients in the way of 5 Star reviews for both service and results.

Due to her success Norma was elevated to Office Manager for the Frederick offices. These offices are extremely busy and service not just English speaking clients, but also Chinese, Korean, and Spanish individuals. With Portner & Shure’s bi-lingual staff in Montgomery and Frederick Counties, populations of both these regions benefit from Norma’s oversight and experience, as well as the resources of our nationally recognized Law Firm.

As Director of Human Resources for the entire law firm, Norma is the point of contact for all personnel matters. Norma is smart, reasonable and approachable. In fact, Portner & Shure’s Handbook directs all Firm employees to raise any Maryland or Virginia employment related issue, or concern, directly to Norma.

Norma is also the point of contact for all medical providers who work or deal with the Firm. In this capacity, Norma is in charge of physician and chiropractic referrals to and from the Law Firm. She also reviews and handles all health care provider bill related issues. Her expertise helps expedite treatment and case resolutions for our client and their families.
